About Steorra Entertainment

Steorra Entertainment, LLC, specializes in producing, packaging, and attaching high-profile participants to reality and fictional television projects through its programming arm, Southern Luck Productions. Executive Producer Julie Berke founded Steorra Entertainment to create television projects with a positive slant and a love of everything entertainment. Steorra also provides casting services through its Julie Be Casting division, which specializes in locating the impossible, hard-to-find cast. “Steorra” is Old English for “star” — an inspiring goal to use entertainment in creating a positive force in the world.

Julie Berke, Senior Partner/Producer

Having over a decade in the entertainment industry, Julie has wide-ranging experience in producing, production managment, casting, writing and product marketing. Most recently, she produced the G4 pilot “Anytown Beatdown” with Tito Ortiz and served as the Supervising Casting Producer for the pilot “The Peak”.  Julie has produced and cast projects for ABC, NBC, CBS,  Fox,  MTV,  VH1, CMT, The Travel Channel, E! Entertainment Networks, CW, TV Land, G4, and The Learning Channel. She holds her degree from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. 

Allan Duffin, Partner/Producer

Allan has produced, written and developed projects for the History and Discovery networks, and consulted for In House Media, Inc., a multimedia production facility and acting studio. He founded Duffin Creative, which provides print and web design and multimedia production. A freelance writer for magazines and newspapers, Allan also has one book in print with a second to be released this fall. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force with 11 years’ service. He holds a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.A. in history from Northeastern University.

Andrea Jarvis, Line Producer

Andrea has served as a line producer, unit production manager, assistant director, and field producer for television projects for NBC, Fox, MTV, The Disney Channel, The Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, Lifetime, Comedy Central, Court TV, TV Guide Channel, Nick at Nite, VH1, the BBC, USA Network, Nickelodeon, and Spike TV. She is currently the head Line Producer for E! Entertainment Live Events. She holds her degree from Samford University.
